ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT RELEASED

The Underwood Community School District has completed it's 2006-2007 Annual Progress Report, and it is now available for public viewing.
Every Public School District is required to submit an Annual Progress Report each year. This report is a state and federal requirement through No Child Left Behind (NCLB), in addition to the AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) Report; both are web-based documents.
For submission purposes, every school district must have this report approved by their local School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) prior to local approval by the Board of Directors. Upon completion of formal board approval, school district officials complete "assurances", and submit this report to their local State Department of Education.
