World Poetry Day Read-a-thon 2009

The High School will be celebrating World Poetry Day on March 20, 2009 with the 4th annual Poetry Read-A-Thon. Students from various classes will gather in the media center to share many varieties of poetry. American Literature classes will read American poets. Spanish classes will read poetry in Spanish. English 1, English 2 and Sr. English classes will participate with selected poems. Art classes will read poetry correlated to works of art. Original poetry will be displayed in the window in the media center.
Keep the poetry going! April is National Poetry Month in The United States and Canada.
