UMS Band Fundraiser

Attention Underwood Middle School Band Students and Parents!

As you know at Underwood schools we take great pride in offering our students a musical education of the highest caliber.  While we are presented with a modest budget from the school district to buy music and instruments, it takes much more to provide specific instrumental needs for jazz, pep, marching and concert band. 

We want to offer an opportunity for students to help increase the quality of instruments that are being used in the Underwood music program.  Students will be selling cookie dough and a brochure of spring items.  Families will appreciate these items especially during those busy days when all you want to do is throw something convenient in the oven.  Why not cookies?  These products are top notch.  All profits from the orders collected by your student will go directly to the operating budget for the middle school band.  Students can take orders from Friday, February 5th through Tuesday, February 16thALL ORDERS AND MONEY ARE DUE ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16th.  Checks should be made payable to Underwood Schools.  All products will be delivered the week of March 1st.  We will notify families via student mailing and the Underwood Schools web site for the exact delivery date.  Underwood schools will not be storing items left after the delivery date (we do not have the facilities to do so).  Arrangements need to be made so that all of the orders are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. 

            In addition to the direct profits from the fundraiser, students have an opportunity to be involved in cash prize incentives for the most sales and the fastest sales.  See the attached page for the guaranteed Master Blaster prizes based on the number of items sold. 

  • If the Band sells more than 1,000 total items an additional $300.00 will be available for a prize drawing. 
  • Once a student has sold 12 items, his/her name is added to the prize drawing.
  • For every 5 additional items (after the initial 12 items), the student’s name is entered in the prize drawing again!
  • Each name drawn earns $25.00 cash – your name can be drawn MORE THAN ONCE!
  • If the Band sells its goal of 1,000 items we will earn a 6th-8th pizza party. 
  • Monday February 8th, a check for $35.00 will be awarded to the student who brings the most paid sales by that date for each grade level 6th, 7th, and 8th
  • We would like for each student to sell 12 or more items.  Remember we are not selling objects or cookie dough.  We are selling an opportunity to support the Underwood Middle School Band Program.
