2nd Year of Underwood Youth Basketball: A Success
Over 83 kids K-3rd Participate in 4 week league

February 27th will mark the last day of our 2nd year of Underwood Youth Basketball. This year we had 83 kids participate grades K-3. The kids have had a lot of fun and have really improved in this short amount of time. There are many people that need to be thanked and recognized in making this run smooth. Joyce Tiarks, the coordinator, deserves the credit for collecting fees and organizing schedules. Special thank you's go out to the following coaches: Jim Kuck, Marc Luett, Heath Telleen, Gina Pearson, Doug Ryan, Matt Gibson, Troy Fink, Mike Hall, Chad Wollan, Jeremy Vantilburg, Rick Larson, Dustin Moore, Eric Rowe, Lory Vantilburg, Jeff Teten and Jeanne McMaines. All these coaches gave up a couple hours on Saturday to help with each team.
I would also like to thank all the people who volunteered their time to work in the concession stand: Kristi Clawson, Mary Jensen, JW Tiarks, Shay Tiarks, Jennifer Kuehn, Karmen Vanfossan, Kris Gardner, and Bob and Judy Ravlin.
