Battle of the Books Teams Compete
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Underwood Middle School "Battle of the Books" teams competed recently at Tri Center Middle School. The team named "Insert Name Here" captured the 2nd place trophy, while the team named "The Team" battled to a 6th place tie! There were 20 teams competing at TC, with 68 teams originally entered into the competition of Southwest Iowa schools. Members of the teams include: Shea Vermillion, Riley Konsor, Jamie Schroeder, Conner Brandt, Tallin Rasmussen, Blake Schweers, Zach Whittington, Connor Ryan, Ashley Hytrek, and Ross Schroeder. Mrs. Privia, the UMS 8th grade Language Arts instructor, was the sponsor for this event.
