Project Jack Grant
5th graders of Mrs. Teten’s class of Underwood received the Project Jack Grant from The Realtor Foundation of Iowa. They had $250 to Pay It Forward to their community.
The class chose to hold a free skate afternoon for all Underwood 3-5 graders. They also invited local law enforcement and firefighters to socialize with their peers. “These individuals are valued members of our community and serve as role models to us,” stated Koryn Trede, “We had approximately 65 students show up to skate. It was a fun and successful event.
