FEBRUARY 2012 DISTRICT DISPATCH
The 2011-12 school year has been very busy in terms of facility improvement projects funded by school improvement local county option/soon-to-become statewide penny sales tax funds. At the beginning of the first semester, we experienced an electrical “brown-out” incident at the high school. This event caused the electric motors which ran the two heating and ventilation units suspended from the gymnasium ceiling to burn out. Our director of buildings and grounds, Jim Ettleman, and I worked with our insurance carrier and determined that these two units needed to be replaced. . . .

Finish Regular Season at 29-0!
The 2011-12 Underwood Wrestling Team can lay claim to being the best single-season dual meet team in Underwood history as they finished the regular season with a record of 29-0, becoming the all-time dual meet wins school record holder! The Eagles polished off their unbeaten regular season by walking past Mo Valley, 69-3, and St. Albert, 78-0. The opponents for the night kept many of their starters off the mat, to the dismay of the home crowd that was looking for a solid night of wrestling. That never materialized, so . . .
