Pat Schreiber Named Charles E. Lakin Outstanding Teacher Award Recipient
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMrs. Patricia Schreiber was one of four recipients of the Charles E. Lakin Outstanding Teacher Award for the 2020-2021 school year. Mrs. Schreiber is a third-grade teacher at Underwood and has been a teacher in the district for 42 years. Mrs. Schreiber was completely surprised by the award and was very grateful for the honor. She said, "There are a lot of great teachers here at Underwood." Mrs. Schreiber was selected from over 200 submissions.
Mrs. Schreiber was nominated by Kirk and Emily Hughes, who have two children in the district, Jackson in fifth grade and Riley in third grade. Both boys had Mrs. Schreiber as a teacher and absolutely loved her. She is positive, energetic, and inclusive.
Mrs. Schreiber received a $10,000 check to do with as she pleases. Congratulations to Mrs. Schreiber for her achievement and all of her hard work over the past 42 years here at Underwood!
