Students in Mrs. Teten's class received a $250 Project Jack Grant.  This grant is a Pay it Forward grant where the students get to choose how to use the funds to help their chosen recipient. This year the students chose the Micah House. Each student was given $10 to buy items such as toiletries, cereal, canned goods, pillows, etc. off a wishlist provided by the Micah House.

The students also chose to do a clothing drive for them. The total for their non-food donations(including clothing) was 229.8 pounds. They brought their donations to the Micah House and helped stock the food shelves and weigh their non-food donations. Daylee Olson, Micah House Coordinator, then gave the students a  tour of their facilities.
