April Fools’ Day brought plenty of fun and laughter yesterday!
Mrs. Dollen’s class started the day with brown-E’s and ended it by catching a “mouse,” while Mrs. Klein’s students showed their appreciation by “gifting” some of her own items right back to her. #WeAreTheU

To prep for their upcoming test, sociology students examined social norms and debated how society would view and classify certain behaviors.
Geographical location, age, and historical timeline (Pre/Post Covid) were just a few of the factors students identified as influencing their perspectives. Thought-provoking conversations and real-world connections made for a great day of learning. #WeAreTheU

The Track and Field Day Committee are offering the different colored shirts for Track and Field Day again (similar shirt design as last year). The K-5th grade-level colors are listed below. We’d love to have your student wear their grade level’s color so it’s easy to identify each grade on the field. You are not required to buy a shirt. Your child can wear their own shirt of the same color on that day. We are also offering a Underwood T-Shirt made by Sideline Sports. Please make sure you select the correct grade level. Shirts need to be ordered by April 16th When you submit your order, it only gives the option of "store pick up," however, ALL t-shirt orders for Field Day WILL BE DELIVERED to the SCHOOL. Parents do not need to pick up the shirts from the store.

This leadership position will oversee student activities and athletics while also supporting key district operations, including transportation coordination and district communication responsibilities. We’re looking for a motivated leader who values relationships, organization, and works to create great experiences for our students.

Every Wednesday, elementary students and their families in grades 3–5 are invited to participate in Mileage Club. With the warmer weather this week, we had a great turnout and loved seeing so many students and families out walking and running together. #WeAreTheU
