Underwood FCCLA is excited to invite students and families to a Career Fair at Underwood High School in the Commons Area from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. With around 20 different careers represented, this is a great opportunity for students to explore future possibilities and start thinking about life after high school.
From 6:00 to 7:30 PM, students can walk around, ask questions, and connect with professionals from a variety of fields. From 7:30 to 8:30 PM, three guest speakers will share valuable information on resume writing, financial aid, and scholarships, including how to get started and where to find opportunities.
Snacks and drinks will be provided as well! #WeAreTheU

We are excited to invite you to join us for Military Appreciation Night on Monday, January 27, prior to our home wrestling duals featuring Audubon, Southwest Iowa, and Logan-Magnolia.
As part of the evening, we hope to recognize and honor Underwood graduates and community members who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. This is an opportunity for us to show our gratitude and appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice.

Jadie will spend a week this summer preparing for the Shrine Bowl, taking part in a variety of activities alongside fellow all-stars, and will have the opportunity to perform at the Shrine Bowl on July 25 at the UNI Dome. #WeAreTheU

Who knew coding could "bee" this fun?
The elementary students enjoyed their Eagle Hub special practicing coding skills! Using Bee-Bots and our Clear Touch screens, they practiced: Sequential thinking, Problem-solving, and Teamwork. #WeAreTheU
Mrs. Wiese’s Iowa Western Composition II classes had the opportunity to hear from Sarah Post, who shared insights on creating effective social media campaigns.
Students will apply what they learned as they develop their own campaigns addressing social issues relevant to their peers. #WeAreTheU

Ms. Knott’s Spanish 2 students are collaborating in groups to write their own scripts, which they’ll act out and record while using tener phrases correctly. #WeAreTheU
Starting at the beginning of the school year, Mr. Christensen and Mr. Hamilton began meeting with students during homeroom to focus on leadership development and character growth. These conversations are designed to help students build strong habits, develop leadership skills, and grow as individuals both inside and outside the classroom. #WeAreTheU

Who: PK – 5th grade.
Camp Time: 3:30pm – 5:15pm
Camp Date: 1/23/26
Camp Location: Underwood Middle School Gym
Game: 1/23/26 @ 6:00pm
Performance Location: Underwood High School
Participants will stay after school and learn the choreography; they will be provided an after-school snack.
Parents will need to pick up their student by 5:15pm from the Middle School Gym.
They will need to report to the High School Auditorium by 6:15pm to perform during the girl’s halftime show that will be around 6:30pm.
If you would like your child to participate, please complete the registration on Bound by 1/16/2026.
