The 7th grade math students explored the concept of circumference and pi by working with different circular objects. #WeAreTheU









The sophomore class attended IWCC's career forum this morning. Students got to attend breakout sessions and learn about career paths from professionals within various industries. #WeAreTheU



Congratulation to Charlie Brummett, Landon Cunningham, Austin Harold, Charles Williams, Marshall Magnuson, Isabel Kerber, Abbi Robinson, Brynley Justesen, Zayne Christensen, and Dakota Peterson!
These students were selected for the Western Iowa Conference (WIC) Honor Band and rehearsed yesterday with local students and wonderful conductors. Both the MS and HS ensembles learned challenging music and performed well, great job!




Day 4 started with a tour of the Capital! Students then toured the National Cathedral and the National Archives before finishing their evening at the Kennedy Center. #WeAreTheU











Day 3 was filled with more sight seeing.
Students got to experience the Washington Monument, African American Smithsonian Museum, Reflection Pool, Ford’s Theater, Arlington Cemetery, JFK Eternal Flame, and a wreath laying at Arlington Cemetery.

Day 2 was a busy one in DC as our group toured the Gettysburg Museum, Gettysburg Battle Field, Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, MLK Jr. Memorial, and the Marine Corps Memorials. #WeAreTheU

All fifth through eighth graders got to catch the final run through of "West of Pecos" before their two scheduled performances this weekend! Just a reminder they will be in action at 7:00pm on Saturday and 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon. See you there! #WeAreTheU

Isabella Buckholdt created a gymnastics lesson for Elementary students as part of her high school TAG passion project. She presented the lesson to Mrs. Dollen’s kindergarten class during PE this week. So fun! #WeAreTheU






The junior class will be available on April 3rd and 4th from 8:45-3:00 (weather permitting) to rake and pick up sticks for residents in Underwood. The kids are not able to mulch, gutter work, or any heaving lifting. Clean up day is April 5th, so everything will be bagged and sat out ready to be picked up. Again, this is weather permitting.
