Underwood FCCLA members attended the Fall Leadership Rally in Cedar Rapids. These eight members learned more about FCCLA programs and this year’s theme Reach for the Stars. Three members competed in Iowa FCCLA events. Congratulations to Ava Schuster on her second place finish in the $15 Meal Challenge. Also, congratulations to Taylor Jensen and Avery Smith in their third place finish in the Dip Challenge.

Yesterday in Life Skills the students worked on their goal setting by making a plan and then practiced their plan making skills by taping their classmate to the wall to see who can last the longest. #WeAreTheU

Last week Mrs. Way's had Haley Fischer present Farms and Food for Kids. She came to us from West Pottawattamie County Farm Bureau. Students created a picture web while learning how food comes from a farm to our table.
