In accordance with Iowa law (House File 2591), 8th-grade students are now eligible to participate in high school extracurricular sports and activities!

Because this transition is a big step, the district is introducing a Collaborative Review Process. Before the season starts, a meeting with parents, the student, administration, and coaches will take place to set up a support plan covering all the supports and expectations so all parties are in the best position to have success.
