The Underwood Cheer Team is excited to host the Shamrock Ball fundraiser! This is a special night for our Underwood Elementary PK–5th grade students and their favorite adult to dance, laugh, and make memories together.

Please note a scheduling update for tonight’s district boys basketball game vs. Missouri Valley. The game time has been moved from 7:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
As this is a boys postseason game, all spectators must purchase a ticket. Tickets may be purchased in advance at:
https://www.iahsaa.org/tickets/Tickets will also be available at the gate; however, payment must be made by credit or debit card. No passes will be accepted for postseason play.

The Charles E. Lakin Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2026 Outstanding Teacher Award, which honors exceptional educators who make a lasting impact in their schools and communities.
Each year, four educators from rural districts within a 40-mile radius of Emerson, Iowa are selected to receive a $10,000 award. Two elementary and two secondary teachers will be chosen, with winners announced in May 2026.
Since 2008, 60 outstanding educators have been recognized through this prestigious award — and we believe we have teachers who are more than deserving of this honor!
Parents, students, and community members are encouraged to submit nominations. Selection is based on a teacher’s extraordinary impact and dedication, not the number of nominations received.

This is a state-sponsored event, so all spectators must have a ticket for entry. Student passes and Underwood Athletic passes will not be accepted.
