Anatomy students in Mrs. Klein’s class explored bone fractures yesterday. Using three credible sources with at least one being peer reviewed, they turned fracture research into models-explaining how each break occurs and what happens to the bone. Loved seeing their research come to life! #WeAreTheU

Last night, the boys wrestling team opened their season with a home triangular vs. Glenwood and Riverside. Thanks to a generous donation from the Athletic Booster Club, we were able to purchase a spotlight and compete under it throughout the night. A big thank-you to the Athletic Booster Club for their continued support! #WeAreTheU

The dance team wrapped up their season yesterday at the ISDTA Dance Championships, earning Division I ratings in hip-hop, lyrical, and pom! Be sure to stop by a basketball game this winter to catch their routines live. Great job, ladies! #WeAreTheU

Mr. Bolte spent time discussing the difference between Roth IRA, a Pension, and a 401(k). Students had many questions throughout the lesson as they are learning about investing and real-life skills in life after school. #WeAreTheU

Mrs. Fischer and her 1st period class celebrated their class Thanksgiving yesterday morning. Students were tasked with cooking or baking specific sides that they voted on as a class. They then had a chance to sit down together and enjoy the food together. #WeAreTheU

The Underwood High School Interior Design class recently finished their furniture refinishing projects. The students spent a week and a half refinishing a piece of furniture of their choice. Their hard work paid off, and the project turned out well. #WeAreTheU

Erin Johnsen from Wild Magnolias has been connecting with Baking II students to share real-world expertise and guidance as they work on their wedding cake project.

Students gained valuable insight on everything from design tips and structural techniques to how to communicate with clients and bring their vision to life.

This is a reminder that we will be hosting a home wrestling dual on Thursday evening, which coincides with the scheduled band concert. To help manage traffic flow and ensure a smooth experience for all attendees, those attending the band concert are asked to please enter the building through the auditorium doors.

Please also be aware that parking demand will be higher than usual due to both events taking place at the same time. We encourage families to allow a few extra minutes for parking and walking to the building.
