**ATTENTION: Underwood Regular Board Meeting Change. The upcoming board meeting has been moved to Wednesday November 12th. This necessary change is to allow the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors to officially certify the School Board election results. The canvass of votes is a normal part of the post election process that verifies and confirms accuracy for all county elections. This allows the vote to go from unofficial to certified or official.

"The music department is happy to congratulate 7th graders Nora Zimmer and Elena Brummett who were selected to represent Underwood in the Southwest Iowa Bandmaster's Association Junior High Honor Band! The event will take place on November 14th at Denison High School.

Halloween energy filled the halls today at both the elementary and middle school as our elementary students celebrated with classroom parties before parading their costumes through the middle school. #WeAreTheU

We were made aware of a mistake on the School Board voting ballots for Tuesday’s upcoming election. Please see the statement from the Pottawattamie County Auditor's Office:

"Ballots for the Underwood School District for the General Election on November 4, 2025 incorrectly state “Vote for No More Than Three” for School Board. The correct instruction is “Vote for No More Than Two” candidates. We apologize for any confusion this may cause."
