The Underwood High School Interior Design class recently finished their furniture refinishing projects. The students spent a week and a half refinishing a piece of furniture of their choice. Their hard work paid off, and the project turned out well. #WeAreTheU

Erin Johnsen from Wild Magnolias has been connecting with Baking II students to share real-world expertise and guidance as they work on their wedding cake project.

Students gained valuable insight on everything from design tips and structural techniques to how to communicate with clients and bring their vision to life.

This is a reminder that we will be hosting a home wrestling dual on Thursday evening, which coincides with the scheduled band concert. To help manage traffic flow and ensure a smooth experience for all attendees, those attending the band concert are asked to please enter the building through the auditorium doors.

Please also be aware that parking demand will be higher than usual due to both events taking place at the same time. We encourage families to allow a few extra minutes for parking and walking to the building.

Butter Braids and Texas Roadhouse rolls may be picked up from the Elementary School today (Monday, November 17) after school. Pickup will end at 4:30PM.

We will have more information on greenery pickup later.

On Friday night, Elena Brummett and Nora Zimmer represented the Underwood Community by playing in the SWIBA JH Honor Band.

They had a blast playing under the direction of the former long-time band director at Denison Junior High, Patty Bekkerus. They learned a lot and will bring those experiences back to help the Underwood Band program. Congratulations to these fine musicians! #WeAreTheU
